Robert Johnson

Robert Johnson is a memoirist (From Prey To Protector, AuthorHouse publishing) and a novelist (The Bebop Bouncer, AuthorHouse publishing) who was born and raised in Queens New York. After completing school (BS Mgt. St. John’s University) he began his career on Wall Street as a registered representative (series 6, 63) and banker (mortgage originations), after struggling for four years on commission he followed a calling into law enforcement and entered the NYPD Academy in 1992. Robert found success in Law enforcement climbing the ranks from Police Officer to Detective, Sergeant and finally Lieutenant where he wrapped up his career as the commanding officer of a special victims squad. Rob and his wife Sonia moved to Islip Long Island half way through his career where they raised their three kids (now adults) Maria, Corina, and Rob Jr. Since retiring from the PD, Rob has received his Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Boston University and spent several years as a counterterrorism security professional and consultant. He now spends his time writing and enjoying retirement.
