Frank Rauch

Mr. Rauch started his aerospace career with the Grumman Aircraft Engineering Corporation in 1956. Initially working in the Aerodynamics Section’s Wind Tunnel Group, he later transferred to the Experimental Dynamics Group of the Dynamic Analysis Section. While in this group, Mr. Rauch became Head of the Flutter Model Lab and was involved in the analysis, design and testing of dynamic models for major Grumman programs. In addition to dynamic model work, Mr. Rauch has participated in the Ground Vibration Testing (GVS); flutter analysis and also vibration troubleshooting of many Grumman designed aircraft.

In 1991, Mr. Rauch left Grumman and did contract work for Gulfstream American on Gulfstream’s Corporate Jets IV and V, Lockheed on modifications to the C9, Raytheon on the P3, and Northrop Grumman on modifications to the E-2C and V22 empennage and with NASA on the High Speed Civil Transport (HSCT).

He has also served as a Designated Engineering Representative (DER) in the category of Structural Dynamics for the FAA and is a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of New York (inactive).

He has served as a Principal Staff member for Veda Corporation and Mantech Inc.
