| Nancy Gerli Walsh was born in New York and grew up on Long Island. She attended and graduated from Dowling College where she received a B.S degree in English and M.S in Literacy. She is currently a Professor at Suffolk Community where she has been teaching for over 36 years. Teaching her students made her realize the need for a more comprehensive understanding of what it takes to have successful relationships in all areas of a person’s life. Her book, “Wake up and Smell the Relationship,” was written for all those who want to have better relationships and a stronger understanding of themselves.
