Krista Legge

Krista Legge has been writing and sharing her stories as a special education teacher for many years. In 2020 she published her first book, with the help of her daughter, THE COMFY SPOT through Mascot Publishing. Krista then published a second book, A REAL LION STORY which was published by Clavis Publishing May 2024 (#3 sold for 2024). Her third book, FOCUS is set for publication Spring 2025 and a fourth, PATRICK’S HELPING HANDS set for a 2026 publication. Her personal essay “The Beginning of the End” was featured in the Heartland Society of Women Writers Online Magazine March 2021. She is also a member of SCBWI, Julie Hedlund’s 12 x 12, The Manuscript Academy, Rate Your Story and an active participant in writing critique groups. Krista is active on numerous social media platforms – Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and TikTok. She utilizes these sites, as well as her own website and blog to connect with bookstores, libraries, school districts, mental health facilities, parents and other authors. When Krista is not working or writing, you can probably find her cheering on her kids baseball and softball games.
